“The hand of the Lord feeds us; He answers all our need”

The above phrase is the antiphon of the Responsorial Psalm of this Sunday, a psalm that shows and witnesses to the faith of Israel, the faith of God’s people in His divine intervention in all their needs, divine protective hand and his guidance, a psalm that sings and proclaims the gift of divine providence. This psalm is not only for the people of God, Israel, it is also for the New People of God, the member the Mystical Body of Christ the Church. We are called upon to renew our faith in the God who cares for us, who feeds us especially, nourishing us with the Body and Blood of Christ His Incarnate Word.

I have been in Africa; I have been at home. I was blessed to reunite with my family, after two years. By God’s grace I was blessed to meet and stay with my dear parents and my siblings. It was a meeting that indeed made all of us realize that everything was a gift of divine providence that, I was able to again could meet and see my father, Amidst his bodily pains, that he could speak and with a smile of love, faith and joyful to see me. It was a moment of witnessing that indeed God’s hand was protecting each one of us that I met my courageous and prayerful mother who without tiring giving care for “the love of her life”, enduring all that it demands to be a happy, saintly caregiver and loving mother. God bless her. By divine providence, with God’s guiding hand, I met with my living siblings, with their children all of us surrounding our parents for a whole week. It was indeed a moment of experiencing that a Christian family is: a sanctuary of life, where we lived, prayed, and eat together.

My family sends you greetings and God’s blessings, my father and my mother are grateful to every one of you for love and care you have shown to them through prayers and in every other way you have and are grateful for making me happy and joyful in my priestly ministry amongst you. I am also grateful. Thanks to each one of you. May the Blessed Mother of Divine Providence pray for us always.
